Katherine Jean Bolduan, also known by her professional name Kate Bolduan, is an American journalist from the United States. She is most well-known as anchor of CNN's morning program At This Hour. Earlier she co-anchored the CNN Monday morning show New Day and The Situation Room. Bolduan contributed to CNN's coverage of the 2012 and 2016 presidential elections. Bolduan also worked at Washington DC as a correspondent for the US House, and US Senate. Bolduan's coverage of congressional events as well as events that occurred during her tenure as part of the Capitol Hill Unit included the negotiations to raise the debt limit for the US, as well as discussions by the super-committee. Bolduan worked as a correspondent for general assignments, covering such reports such as Christmas Day 2009 bombing attempt and the Supreme Court's landmark decision regarding Obamacare.
