Ali MacGraw

Elizabeth Alice MacGraw better known as Ali MacGraw is an award-winning American actress, model, writer as well as an animal rights activist. Her movies are Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus ( 1969) and The Getaway ( 1972). New York was her home and she was brought up in a creative environment. She started as a photography assistant and later moved into acting and modeling. Her name was highlighted in her two first films and won the Golden Globe Award for Most Promising Newcomer. Her film MacGraw's Love Story from 1970 was a huge hit that brought fame to the world, as well as an Academy Award nominee and Golden Globe Award. In just three films MacGraw became the most popular female box office star in the entire world. At Grauman's Chinese Theater In 1972, she got her name and footprints hand-engraved. The actress has appeared in a variety of other movies, including The Getaway Convoy Players and the miniseries on TV The Winds of War among others. Moving Pictures, a 1991 autobiography by her, was released. MacGraw got married to three different people.
